How long will my fresh flower arrangement last?
You can expect your fresh blooms to last between 3-7 days. Flowers will always last longer if they are well looked after. Blue Blossoms is not responsible for lack of care once delivered, such as not placing in fresh water or a spike in temperature. During the hotter summer months vase life will vary during extreme heat. If you have a problem with the quality of your florals, you MUST contact us within 24 hours & if necessary, we will send you a replacement. Please note- after 24 hours no flowers will be replaced. We won't take any responsibility for flowers that are left out in extreme weather or neglected.
Can I choose the colors of my fresh flower arrangement?
If you would like something specific it is best to give as much notice as possible so that there is enough time to source the florals. Blue Blossoms CANNOT guarantee the exact color or variations of ANY flower, plant or product used in the arrangements. All-natural products are subject to differences, environmental impacts and no two products will ever be the same. We will substitute if necessary to make your arrangement as gorgeous as possible.
I have missed the online cut-off for same-day delivery. Can I still order same-day delivery?
If you would really love your flowers delivered and it's after the cut off time, please give us a quick call. If we can fit it in, we will do it for you! PLEASE NOTE—If you do fail to provide a date for delivery or reply to a follow up message then we will deliver at our earliest convenience. The best way to contact us is by PHONE, TEXT or EMAIL.
What days do you deliver?
Blue Blossoms delivers fresh flower arrangements Monday to Saturday each week. We occasionally close the shop for our team of florists to rest and take a well-deserved break. Always check out Google listing for the most up to date schedule.
What happens if no one is home to receive the flower delivery?
If there is nobody home to accept the delivery, it will be left in a safe spot at the specified address. The sender will receive an email confirmation as well as a text message letting them know that the flowers were delivered and no one was home to receive them. In this case, we will also include an image in the text showing where we left the flower arrangement. Please note—we will not take any responsibility for flowers left out in extreme weather.
What happens if there is a problem delivering my order?
Where the incorrect delivery address has been given or we cannot access the property due to locked gates or apartment blocks there will be a re-delivery fee charged. If the recipient is not at the address and you would like the driver to deliver to a different address, then please organize this with us directly as soon as possible. We do ask that you respect our delivery drivers and the time each delivery takes them. Our delivery drivers cannot wait at any address as they are on a tight schedule with precious flowers in their vehicle. For a smooth delivery, we recommend making sure you provide any applicable unit number, apartment number, gate code, recipient phone number, or any other helpful delivery instruction during the checkout process. PLEASE PUT THE RECIPIENT'S PHONE NUMBER IN THE DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS SO WE CAN CONTACT THEM IF THERE IS A PROBLEM.
Can I choose a delivery time?
Unfortunately, we cannot take any timed deliveries. Each day is different, and we are usually running on a tight schedule. If you do require a timed delivery, please call us in advance to discuss and see if we can help you. If you request a time for delivery without contacting us, we most likely will not be able to fulfilll that request. For example: "delivery by 10am" Considering most of our orders only come in by 9am this is not a realistic timeframe and we will do our best to deliver your order as soon as we can. Please note an extra fee may be charged.
PEAK TIMES: During peak times such as VALENTINES DAY OR MOTHERS DAY we ask that you be patient with the timeframe of your delivery. We do not accept specific delivery time requests during holidays. Emails, text, and calls requesting an ETA and/or specific time for deliveries are time consuming and only hold up our team on these busy holidays. Please know that we are doing our best to provide utmost quality and delivery orders in a timely manner. We appreciate your patience.
What time will my order get delivered?
We will deliver your order between 1:00pm to 6:00pm, If your order is going to a school or a business, please leave clear instructions on when the person receiving the order will be leaving. PLEASE NOTE WE DO REQUIRE A NUMBER TO CONTACT THE RECIPIENT ON SHOULD ANY PROBLEMS ARISE.
I want regularly scheduled flowers in my home. How do I go about ordering them?

I want to order flowers to send to a friend. Should I place the order online or call the shop?
While we absolutely love to hear from our customers, but ordering online is the best and quickest method most of the time. Then again, don’t hesitate to call at (805)689-8438.

I’m getting married at the Santa Barbara Courthouse soon. Can I order just a bridal bouquet and boutonniere from you?

How do you best describe your style?
At Blue Blossoms, we are well-trained in a variety of floral styles, but we do have our preferences. From classic and modern, to boho and whimsical, we like to play around. We get really excited over floral designs that are unique. From lush waterfall table runner installations to dramatic hanging florals from light fixtures we are game for a design challenge!
What happens to all the flowers after a big event?
We always leave it up to the customer to decide what happens to the flowers after a wedding or event. When given the opportunity, we deconstruct the floral arrangements and turn them into mini wrapped bouquets that we hand out for free at one of our many beloved local coffee shops as part of our Pay It Forward Project. Where do your flowers come from?
We are incredibly fortunate to have our floral studio in beautiful California. We have close relationships with local flower growers primarily in Carpinteria where we personally select flowers from their fields. How lucky are we? Our local flower farms are how we are able to provide such high-quality, unique flowers that are ever-changing with the seasons. Buying the majority of our flowers from locally grown farms is something we pride ourselves in, especially from an environmentally conscious perspective.
Occasionally, we source flowers from Wholesalers that import nationwide as well as internationally.
